Your blog is very enjoyable! Shannon
hey dude
i have girls, you have boys, other than that our lives are really really alike. Glad you’re writing.
Thanks, Lance! Glad you’re writing too. Your work is very good and I’m glad you’re sharing it.
I wonder if I can embed pictures into a comment, because I have The Lord of the Rings trilogy in that same printing that you have of The Hobbit. They were my mother’s books, and she passed them on to me. The only one that still has it’s cover is The Fellowship of the Ring… oops! I guess they’re well loved! Maybe I should invest in a new set soon…
Anyways, I look forward to exploring your blog!
I have the copies of LotR that were my father’s from the 60′s. All the covers are being held on with making tape and I rarely touch them.
You are holding that book like a hostage victim who is posing with a copy of today’s newspaper.
I know. It’s a horrible picture. But it was the best of about 20 my wife took. I’m not photogenic at all and just plain uncomfortable when a camera is aimed at me.
Hi, you’ve been nominated for the Liebster award, hope you like it

Hey Eric,
I loved your response to J. Clough’s post on Lance’s Sprocket article yesterday. She’s my mom & she drives me crazy. Would you believe that woman raised me in a house with a photo of JFK on the living room wall? Crazy. Thanks for the insightful and intelligent comments.
I look forward to reading your blog.
Thanks for stopping by. Always nice to see a fresh face around here.
Congratulations; you’ve been nominated for the Epically Awesome Award of Epic Awesomeness! Click here to find out more http://theimaginator.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/awesome-again-only-epically-so/
